You could say that commitment is part of our DNA. As a cooperative with deep roots in Montana, Valley Farmers Supply is staffed and managed by folks who know what it takes to make a farm, ranch or other agricultural business thrive.
In 1938, the Farmers Union Oil Company began servicing farms and other agricultural ventures in our part of Montana. Over time, this cooperative grew out of its initial role of delivering fuel to farmers, expanding to agronomy, animal health and a broad range of energy services. We’ve opened local offices in Worden, Hysham and Miles City, plus additional retail stores in Custer and Reed Point.
In 2014, we changed our name to Valley Farmers Supply, and in recent years, we’ve spun off a separate propane division — Valley Propane.
